Dyed from natural indigo, this one-of-a-kind scarf is a traditional shibori design. 

The practice of indigo dyeing is one of the oldest textile techniques in the world and it was the foundation of many textile traditions. For centuries, before the introduction of synthetic dyes, the ability to transform white cotton into prized deep blue cloth was a highly valuable skill passed down by specialist dyers from generation to generation.

Size & Fit

Each cloth measures approximately 45 cm long x 110 cm wide.

Product Care

Please note that as this textile has been dyed naturally with Indigo, the dye is not stable and will rub onto other surfaces. 

We recommend using this piece as a decorative piece and if it needs to be laundered please seek a specialist dry cleaner.
